7 Minute Muscle

The owner and author of 7 Minute Muscle Jon Benson, definitely has a slightly different approach to building solid long lasting muscle. But from what we have investigated, he has definitely had thousands of proven results, and some serious endorsements form professionals with in the muscle building and fitness industry.

7 Minute Muscle is mainly a density-based training system. What it does is it demands a varity of repitition ranges, which are done within a specified time period. These are six primary variables that Jon focuses on

  • Intensity
  • Load
  • Volume
  • Density
  • Time
  • Force.

The time includes rest intervals between sets as well as the overall time required to complete, let's say 4 sets.

To me it seems that Jon has based a lot of his strategies around a layman's take, which states that one of the basic laws of physics states that time and energy are interrelated. So what this means is doing the same amount of work, in less time requires more energy, which then will translate into more power.

While power is a factor in training, the focus is on forcing muscle growth and adaptation of that muscle group. This is also an element of time and energy. More energy expended in less time, which equals more power. This gets you thinking doesn't it!!
