You make some good points especially about the ripped part. Now look at this, the act of lifting weights does not in it self build muscle. It is the recovery after the workout. All lifting does is tell them to grow, they will then need protein to actually build. So protein is the limiting factor if the muscle is full stimulated. Protein does turn to fat easily if at all (Akins Diet is based on this). So high protein low fat = defined muscle growth.

I believe the main reason that bodybuilders bulk and rip, as that is where it came from, if that it is unhealthy to have body fat at the low levels that most compete at.

i realized in these couple of month that managing time can really make a difference.
